Silver and Bronze Mokume Gane pendant. The tapered pendant is slightly curved, side-to-side, and has an 18k gold square accent, stamped with kanji: "earth". The Mokume Gane is topped with a curved silver bar and a heavy silver oval bail, The pendane comes on an 18", 3mm black leather cord.
Meaning “wood grain metal”, Mokume-gane is a Japanese metalworking technique
originally developed to
decorate swords. Different colored precious metals are fused together in layers, then manipulated to produce
various patterns, such as the grain of wood.
